Steve Aberman, ChFC®

Steve joined Flynn Zito after spending nearly four years at Fidelity Investments. At Fidelity, Steve counseled and guided clients with assets ranging from $100,000 to $10,000,000. Most of his day was spent educating clients on all aspects of the market and how most efficiently to pursue their financial goals, whether that be through wealth accumulation and preservation strategies, retirement planning, income planning or 529 plans.

Prior to Fidelity Steve spent 15 years on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange for Goldman Sachs. He was a Designated Market Maker in stocks representing many aspects of the S&P 500 and totaling over $50B in market capitalization. He specialized in risk management and in overseas markets, focusing on Asia, India and Great Britain. Steve holds a Series 7, 63, and 4 Registrations with LPL Financial.

Steve grew up on Long Island and attended Hofstra University, graduating with honors in Communication Arts. He is an avid runner, hockey player, film buff and Bob Dylan fan. He is active in Kiva, a micro-financing charity that seeks to raise capital for Third World small business owners and entrepreneurs. When he is not doing any of those things, Steve’s favorite pastime is spending time with his wife, two children and his dog, Gordie.
